Another winner – On Tuesday 22 January, at lunch after the Mornington GC Ladies’ Opening Day, GPV President presented an Order of Merit trophy to Aleisha Hannam-Lewis, of Mornington and Cranbourne GCs

A presentation at Cerberus Golf Club on Saturday 19 January was the first of a series. James Hogan-Keogh from Cerberus was awarded the trophy for his “best nett” win in  the 2018 Junior Order of Merit. GPV president Dorothy Mortlock and vice-president Taffy Richards made the presentation. Other trophies will be presented soon – we’ll post photos!

The Junior OOM covered the calendar year 2018, and all District juniors aged 19 or under on 1 January 2018 were automatically included in it, the basic requirements being that they had to hold their GA handicap at a GPV club and to play in at least 5 GPV junior events.  Points were allocated as they played in the events, and trophies were awarded for boys and girls, best gross and best nett.
The winners were –
Boys’ best gross – Matt Lever, The National
Boys’ best nett – James Hogan-Keogh, Cerberus
Girls’ best gross – Molly McLean, Rosebud CC
Girls’ best nett – Aleisha Hannam-Lewis, Mornington
