The GPV Foursomes Championships were held at Moonah Links (Legends Course) on Sunday 18 August, and players hit off in good conditions that deteriorated badly later in the day.

Congratulations to the winners of the women’s event, Monica Marchesani (The National) and Kim Kennedy (Warburton), who played very consistent golf for their result.  Runners-up were Vanessa Elders (Rosebud) and Molly McLean (The National).

The men’s event ran to a sudden-death play-off, which was won on the first hole by Jordan Denereaz and Joel Simons, of Cardinia-Beaconhills, from Peter McNeil and Drew Coleman, of Moonah Links.

Our thanks to Moonah Links for providing a great course for the championship, and to their staff and members who assisted GPV with the organisation of the event.

And our thanks to all who entered, helping to make a competitive and high-quality field.

There is also time to enter the A Grade Championships to be played on Sept 8 and 15, 2019.  To enter click here.
